Homework policy:
Homework for the kindergartner is almost always something that will be completed with the help of an adult.
All families are encouraged to become involved with the education of their child. I will be encouraging each child to become as responsible as possible for their own belongings, papers, books, etc. that need to be returned to our classroom (however, they will definitely need your support!)
Read plenty of books to your kindergarten student and then discuss what has happened in the story. Notice new vocabulary words! Talk to your child about everything that you see and do!
Please check your child's book bag and discuss the papers and activities with your child daily! Don't be surprised if on some days your student has an empty folder. If they do, ask what they did in class. It probably was a very busy day with activities in our classroom!
Watch for any communications from school (calendar, newsletter, webpage, as well as daily papers completed). These will help you to know what is going on here at Reedurban! THANKS!!
