My seventh grade social studies class
will help your child learn about early European history in reference to its
geography, governments, religions, economics, and educational systems.
As your child’s teacher, it is my hope
to help him/her to strive to become a lifelong learner. As I guide your child throughout this year,
I want to help him/her to work hard and become a positive, contributing member
to our community.

Biographical Information
Being a Perry High alumnus, I wanted to teach for this extraordinary school system! My wish came true and I have taught for the Perry Local Schools for twelve years, in the areas of reading, language arts, science, and social studies. I graduated from Ohio University (Go Bobcats!) and have a Master’s Degree in Education. I have been married for fourteen years with four terrific children (Jack is in second grade. Lilli, David, and Jonathan are in kindergarten.) I love working with kids and am always looking forward to learning something new each day. I hope that my love of learning is contagious!
Personal Interests
I like to go on walks or bike rides
with my family.
Reading, listening to music, and going
to see movies are some of my favorite things to do.
I enjoy traveling to new places and
tending to my garden in the summer.
